In this modern technological world that we live in, electromagnetic pollution in the environment is increasing at an exponential rate. This is an environmental stress many individuals are unaware of because we cannot see or hear it. It is a type of pollution we can’t get away from, and it’s even more present as we get closer to the cities. EMF exposure will soon be global, as there are plans to launch 20,000 5G satellites and towers. This will expose all the wildlands and animals to high levels of high-frequency radiation. We want to provide simple/affordable solutions in this article to arm yourself with information that is empowering to protect yourself from the host of health hazards that can be attributed to EMF exposure.
WHAT IS EMF/EMR?
Electromagnetic fields (EMFs) are produced by electromagnetic radiation (EMF). This radiation comes from a variety of electromagnetic infrastructure and devices, as well as natural sources. Many devices that emit EMFs are wireless and transmit frequencies that carry information from one device to another through the air. EMR is a form of non-ionizing radiation, which is any frequency below the threshold of ionizing radiation. Some forms of ionizing radiation that you may be familiar with are x-rays and nuclear energy. EMFs vary in their configuration, their effects on human biology, their size, and the speed of their waveforms. The natural electromagnetic fields emitted from the Earth and its atmosphere have constantly changing frequencies that all life forms on Earth have evolved to live within. The natural background radiation on Earth is recognizable by our cells as a product of our environment, which we seem to be well adapted to.
Non-native (manmade, artificial) electromagnetic frequencies emit different EMF patterns than natural sources. Each artificial EMF source runs on repetitive, pulsed frequencies; if these were audible to us, we would hear something like an amber alert or alarm clock. Nothing in nature operates this way, so because of this, our bodies are constantly in a “fight or flight” state (aka - stress response). Our bodies become very overstimulated when they are exposed to the same frequency repeatedly. Like a virus, our bodies attempt to ‘attack’, what it perceives as a foreign invader. Unfortunately, there is nothing to physically defeat or attack, so the battle goes on forever (even during sleep), or until the harmful stimulus is removed. In this ongoing battle, our immune system can exhaust itself and have less energy to respond to actual invaders, such as bacteria, mold, endotoxins, or to regenerate the body.
When the immune system weakens and our bodies vitality slowly gets depleted, many unpleasant symptoms and issues can arise, including:
Fatigue/lack of focus, inflammation, depression and anxiety, insomnia, allergies, digestive problems, autoimmune conditions, calcium channel flooding (calcification), Alzheimer’s, autism, Heart Disease, miscarriage, hormonal imbalance, migraines, heart arrhythmias, retroviral activation, reduced fertility, nausea/tremors/weakness, acute and chronic viral and bacterial infections.
DANGERS OF BLUETOOTH & CHRONIC EXPOSURE CLOSE TO THE BRAIN
Bluetooth headsets are a very popular choice for listening to music, hand-free calls, and any other digital communication that requires both speaking and listening. Yes, it is very convenient, but studies and information presented in this article suggest otherwise.
Bluetooth technology works by emitting wireless microwave radiation from a transmitter in the base device to a receiver that sits right next to the headset or earbuds in your ears. Bluetooth headsets use short-range signals in the 2.4 GHz hand, the same spectrum as your wifi router and microwave ovens. This is a higher frequency than the spectrum cell phones operates in.
Most Bluetooth headsets are considered Class 2 Bluetooth devices, with a 2.5 mW output and a 20-30 foot range. However, the newer Apple Airpods and the Beats headphones, are being sold as Class 1 Bluetooth, boasting a 300-foot transmission range. These devices operate at 100 mW, which is a 40x stronger radiation output than previously popular headsets.
The telecom industry states that the body only absorbs a fraction of the radiation from Bluetooth earbuds than what a cell phone emits, but Dr. Joel Moskowitz states that in actuality, because of the much closer proximity to the inside of the head, Bluetooth can affect the head specifically at a third to half of the level of a cell phone.
This becomes even worse if your phone is anywhere against your body while you’re using Bluetooth (or any headset), like in your pocket. When your phone is actively transmitting information to a headset, wireless or not, it emits far more radiation that when it’s not being used.
MINIMIZING YOUR EXPOSURE & SOLUTIONS
1. Getaway from the city and go for a hike/reconnect w/ nature (preferably 1-4x/month).
2. Avoid carrying a mobile phone on your body (pocket/bra).
3. Avoid holding any mobile phone against your body when in use (against your head).
4. Use your mobile phone on a loudspeaker or with an “air tube” headset.
5. Put your mobile phone on ‘airplane mode’ when not in use.
6. Avoid using your mobile phone in cars, trains, or elevators.
7. Keep mobile phones away from you or on airplane mode when you are asleep.
8. Turn off the wifi router at night or when not in use.
9. Direct connect/hardwire devices with ethernet cables.
